The tragic murder of their family. Total rejection by society. For some, these tragic events fuel a life of revenge and disdain. But for others, these tragic circumstances forge the steel that becomes the will of the hero. Ultimately, what makes a hero a hero and a villain a villain is a testament to free will and the ability to mold one's destiny no matter the circumstances. And though heroes and villains may choose different paths, they are always connected. For it is the villain that gives the hero purpose. In his first rare digital art collaboration, José Delbo displays, in his classic style, one of his most beloved and complex heroes surrounded by the equally complex villains that give him purpose.
